BioI'm Gerard (AKA gerjomarty), and this is my LiveJournal, which will probably end up being horribly underused and will not be updated for months at a time while I proceed to forget all about it until I'm bored one Sunday afternoon.
I come from Derry (or Londonderry if you prefer) in Northern Ireland, and I'm currently in my first year of university studying Computer Science at Cambridge. Which is both insanely hard and insanely good fun.
I don't really know what I'm going to do with my life at this point in time; the only thing I know I want to do is learn Japanese and go to Japan for an extended holiday after university. I don't know what it is with the place, but it just seems to have some everlasting pull. Although it's probably my Digimon obsession. I've watched the anime since 1999/2000 and despite assuming I would just grow out of it naturally, that simply never happened.
I also have a Digimon fansite, Digientity.net, which has existed in one form or another since 2001 sometime. It's undergone around four name changes, around six server changes and countless redesigns. They help in spurring me on to add content to it, which I'm far too lackadaisical in doing. I've also been writing Digimon fanfiction since around the same time, however I also find it very hard to finish anything. I'm getting close, though. I'd love it if you could go and read and review.
